Departing Perth @8am we drive north directly to Nambung National Park, home of Pinnacles. We spend some time in newly opened Pinnacles Interpretive Discovery Centre to learn more about wildlife in this area, history and formations of Pinnacles. Ensure you wear comfortable foor wear, bring your hat, sun screen and camera. Keep watch for wild kangaroos, emus and wild flowers. Have lunch at Cervates's white sandy beach (weather permitting) then experience exciting sand boarding at Lancelin's sand dunes. Return to Perth around 7pm.

Travel south to see the crystal blue waters of the Shoalwater Marine Park. Take a ferry ride to discover the wonders of Penguin Island home to the little penguins and array of different wildlife with time to take a swim or snorkel amongst this breathtaking marine and coastal scenery. Enjoy a traditional Aussie Lunch at the famous Marapana Bush Wildlife Park home to Koalas, Kangaroos, and Emus. In the afternoon visit Fremantle, Perth's old port city with time to explore this lively area.

Starting in Perth , the tour takes in all major attractions, beginning with Kings Park botanical gardens, where you have time to experience a walk through the trees canopies on the Tree Top Walk . Later, continue to Cottesloe Beach before arriving at historic Fremantle .

Part with the group for more time here making your own way home via public transport otherwise we highly recommend you take the optional Swan River Cruise back to Perth with Captain Cook Cruises. Onboard, relax into panoramic scenery of Perth as you enjoy a Western Australian wine tasting whilst cruising by extravagant waterfront houses of Millionaires Row. Alternatively, stay on the coach returning to Perth by road travelling past the University of Western Australia , Royal Perth Yacht Club , the Old Swan Brewery , Barrack Street Jetty , the Bell Tower and finally the Perth Mint , arrive at approximately 12.30 pm.

When back in Perth you have the option to enjoy a 2 course lunch in the sky at the revolving C Restaurant. (own expense)

A journey through the Western Australian wheatbelt region to Wave Rock, truly one of Australia's most incredible natural monuments. During the day visit the historic township of York and view other significant historical and geological attractions of the area.

Heading east through the scenic Darling Ranges we stop to enjoy morning tea (own expense) at historic York , the first township founded in the Avon Valley . Enjoy the wonderfully preserved turn of the century Victorian buildings and gain an insight into grand old pioneer days. Continuing east, we pass through sweeping wheatbelt plains and stop enroute at the famous Dog Cemetery , a tribute to Australian working sheep dogs.

Later we reach the small town of Hyden , home of Wave Rock . Before lunch we visit Hippo's Yawn an unusual natural rock formation shaped like a yawning hippopotamus, regarded by the local Aboriginal people as a special 'women's place'. We break for a picnic lunch at the Wave Rock Wildflower Shop.

We then join an Aboriginal cultural tour of Wave Rock. Walk around and on top of the rock as you hear of dreamtime stories and discover special Aboriginal sacred sites , including Gnamma Holes (water reservoirs) and learn about Aboriginal culture . Estimated at being an incredible 2,700 million years old, the rock has over time been sculptured by nature into the form of a huge breaking wave . Whilst here visit a Wildlife Park featuring Australian animals or alternatively view the unique Antique Lace Collection.

Leaving Wave Rock, we head off to view some other intriguing rock formations of the area including the Humps , a camel hump like granite rock and finally Mulka's Cave . Your coach captain will explain the ancient Aboriginal cave paintings featured within it, telling the legend of the outcast Aboriginal, “Mulka the Terrible” . Our return journey takes us along back roads through the heart of the Western Australian wheatbelt to the small farming town of Babakin . Here we enjoy some country hospitality over an afternoon tea (own expense) with local town folk.

During the wildflower season (September to November) some of Western Australia 's best wildflowers can be seen in this area and roadside stops will be made to view some of the spectacular native wildflowers . From here, sit back in comfort and contemplate the day's experiences before returning through the Darling Ranges giving us elevated panoramic views of Perth 's city lights with arrival in Perth at approximately 8.30pm .
