Discover the magnificent flora and fauna of Kangaroo Island. Your island experience begins with an introduction to Kangaroo Island. Tour through several different island habitats to see wildlife in its natural environment. At spectacular Seal Bay, walk among the Australian sea lions basking on the beach or among the sand dunes. With your guide you are able to stand reasonably close to these endangered creatures and watch them at play. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a secluded beach or bush location followed by a bushwalk or beach stroll. Explore the spectacular beaches of the north coast and listen for Australia's rarest cockatoo, the Kangaroo Island Glossy Black cockatoo. Watch for the Tammar wallaby, with its small, fine features, in its natural habitat. Later in the afternoon as dusk arrives we watch as mobs of kangaroos leave the safety of the bushland and graze out in the open. Experience the isolation of this fascinating island and marvel at its unique wildlife.
